Level-1 PDA (Process Data Acquisition) system. In difference to the onboard PDA installed with the HMI system, this system is able to collect data much faster and therefore offers better diagnosis and optimization possibilities. The system can be operated in a native or virtualized PC-environment. It can be combined with a camera system as well, to get a picture with the stored data.

The L1-Process basic automation is the programmed logic for the PLC (acc. IEC 61131-3) and the HMI runtime which is developed and operated in a native or virtualized PC-environment. The process automation covers the control (PLC) and display (HMI) of the process related functions like control loops for pressure, temperature and level, setpoint calculations and so on. The striptransport automation covers the control (PLC) and display (HMI) of the striptransport related functions like strip head/tail positioning, strip tension control, acceleraton and deceleration of the strip. Mechanical press lines deliver efficient high-volume production of medium-sized and large parts. Equipped with feeder automation and quick die change systems, these lines meet the needs of the stamping plant. Depending on the required forming operations, the lines consist of multiple single presses. A link drive is used to ensure superior drawing results and high stroke rates. This drive design produces a motion curve that can reduce drawing speed by one-third compared to eccentric drives. They offer a long slide stroke and provide the ability to manufacture parts with complex contours todays.
