ANDRITZ Dryer Control is an automation solution designed specifically for continuous drying processes in feed production. Built on ANDRITZ's process and dryer expertise, it coordinates product transport, temperature, airflow and retention time across the dryer to provide stable, efficient and repeatable drying conditions. ANDRITZ's existing dryer-control material specifically positions the system around optimal moisture, consistent product quality, production efficiency and reduced energy consumption.

The solution manages the complete drying process, including product distribution and inlet, conveyor layers, heating and cooling zones, recirculation fans, exhaust-air control and outlet transport. Product retention time can be adjusted by controlling conveyor speed, while PID-based temperature control and coordinated airflow maintain the required drying conditions across the dryer.

ANDRITZ Dryer Control can operate as a standalone dryer control solution or integrate seamlessly as a process module within the ANDRITZ plant control system. It can also exchange information with related machine controls, particularly the extrusion process, allowing the dryer to operate as part of an integrated production line.
