ANDRITZ Batch Coating Control combines ANDRITZ coating process and equipment expertise with precise automation of batch coating processes. It controls product batching, vacuum profiles and liquid and powder dosing to deliver repeatable coating, accurate additive application and consistent product quality.

ANDRITZ Batch Coating Control is an automation solution designed specifically for batch-based feed coating processes, including both vacuum and non-vacuum coating. Built on ANDRITZ process and machine expertise, it coordinates product weighing, coating, vacuum control, additive dosing, mixing and discharge to provide accurate, repeatable and reliable coating operation.

The control system manages the coating process according to the selected recipe and actual batch size. For vacuum-coating applications, precise vacuum setpoints and release sequences are coordinated with liquid and powder addition to support the required absorption and penetration into the pellets. The solution can manage multiple liquid and powder additives and automatically calculate dosing quantities based on product batch size.

ANDRITZ Batch Coating Control can operate as a standalone control solution or integrate as a process module within an ANDRITZ plant control system. Production information is captured at individual batch level, including batch size, cycle time and liquid quantities, providing operators with valuable information for production review, troubleshooting and traceability.
